Perfect timing! I actually have one of these that I was watching on eBay for $35 shipped but didn't want to buy it until I had seen a real review. You sold me. Yi Loong should give you a commission on every unit sold! LOL.
Thank you, as Mark said, perfect timing. I think my Fogger V3 is great and so was waiting on a review. A dual coil Fogger its a no brainer at that price :)
the deck is larger and easier imo to coil than the aqua, it also holds more liquid. I found it terribly easy to setup and it vapes nice with no leaks. I am glad i bought 2. They look really good on my mods as well and i will be polishing one. I agree with Todd it was a surprise indeed.
I have to say I love my foggers v2 I have two of them I was about to buy a V3 when I saw the V4 is now out. However I dont like running due coil builds so Im sticking with a V3. Foggers are great devices for what they are, If built right and wicking right the flavor beats my Kayfun hands down, really it does. I just think that the old build style put tootm any people off from the start so they gave up on the devices when in truth the V3 and now V4 are well made and much easier to build on. I use my fogger every day still and will continue to do so. Thanks Todd.
After seeing Todd's review and having owned, and hated, the V2 myself, I had to pick one of these up. Let's just say, Todd's assessment was spot on, 2 thumbs up and a finger. The build quality is not the best, but not bad by any means. Putting a build on the device is a snap. Just keep in mind that less is more if using cotton. I may try silica on my next build. The vape....oh the vape. Wide open on the airflow, it will blow clouds all day. Not dripper clouds of course, but decent enough for me. Speaking of the airflow, keeping it at roughly half-way open creates flavor that is on par with high-end attys. And still great vapor production. Would I buy this product again? Yes, I would. Better buy it now while its still cheaply price and word gets out about how great this device performs. Thanks Todd for bringing this device to our attention.
Looking for some follow up after having it a while, v2 was my first rebuildable, I took the scenic route I guess, but I'm looking forward to giving the v4 a shot.
i just purchased a fogger v4...and for what its worth, they have gone back to the v3 style afc. they are now calling it the fogger v4+. since i dont have a regular v4 and cant say if its better or not. im having problems with leaking though...big problems. i cant seem to figure out why. i know its air tight since when the afc is closed...there is zero airflow. as soon as i open it up though...juice starts coming out through the air holes. it vapes excellently, lots of vapor lots of taste and great throat hit. if it werent for all the leaking this would be my favorite rba.
I have a love hate relationship with my V3 the one with the tank guard as it's near impossible to fill without leakage.
V4 arrived today and the air flow control has been changed back from how it was in Todd's review and you get a snazzy wee keyring screwdriver in the box, also the positive screw on the bottom has been changed to copper but I don't know if that changes anything.
Had leakage with my first build on it using cotton, can never get quite the right amount but I've swapped that for ekowool and it appears to be perfect.
Really glad you put the part in the video about doubling the resistance/wraps/gauge of wire in a dual coil, that saved some faffing about.

ReplyDeleteThis looks suspiciously alike as the Aqua don't you think?
ReplyDeleteThank you, as Mark said, perfect timing.

The previous Foggers were attempts of Taifun GTs, this is like 70% Aqua, 20% Previous Foggers and 10% Kayfun

ReplyDeleteLoved the review but was wondering why u didn't dry fire to check for hot spots first. I'm not a pro, am I missing something?

ReplyDeleteIf you want better flavor and vapor product have the coils approximately 1mm from the air holes.
