Have been using a Phoenix for a month or so and agree it is brill, for £15 you cant go wrong. Like you said if you drip straight in it can flood because of the air hole, lots of sticky hands till I worked out why lol, just tilt it slightly and drip onto the side so it runs down the tube and your sorted. About to order my second one next week.
